Escape into My Presence
Are you in need of a time away with God, a time of drawing closer to your Savior? Speaking from her own conviction of being still before God, Jessie will teach you through, Escape into My Presence, that nearness to God always helps maintain a balance. Jessie will walk through the process of slowing down and centering your life on Jesus rather than living a life of “The Hurried Woman Syndrome.” You will be encouraged, strengthened and your relationship with God will be renewed through this time in His word.
Psalm 46:10 “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”

Feminine Delight
Can you conceive of anything that demonstrates the gospel more beautifully than the godly behavior of those who receive it? Feminine Delight looks at Biblical Womanhood, which is true beauty according to God’s standard. Together we will learn to enjoy the presence of God in our daily lives and the refreshment that comes from an intimate relationship with Him. Jessie’s desire is that you will become a woman of influence and passionately pass it on to others.
This series is perfect for a retreat or individual sessions.

Session Two: Bloom where you are planted
Session Three: Today’s Woman/True Beauty
Passing Biblical Womanhood Down to your Daughter
After reading Feminine Appeal by Carolyn Mahaney, Jessie was convicted of what God’s word says in Titus 2 about being a godly woman. The Lord laid it upon her heart that her girls needed to know this truth before they left home. Jessie made it her mission to teach them by example (not that she always does it right, but…). Jessie believes that when it comes to mentoring women, the most significant relationship is the one between a mother and her daughter.

The Day of Renewal
Jessie will walk you through the book of Nehemiah where you will look at what it means to surrender to the call of God on your life. Lessons from this Old Testament book, will teach you the importance of making repairs in front of your own home or if it is already rebuilt, how to help you keep it in tact. What are the “walls” like around your home? Not the walls of brick and stone, but the “spiritual walls.”
Walls of:
- Prayer/Devotion Life
- Family/Friendship
- Integrity
- Faithfulness
- Community
- Faith
Jessie will share her own experiences of what it means to surrender to God’s call on your life and committing to a life of obedience. You will be challenged to work out your faith with single-mindedness as you begin to renew yourself through God’s Word.
Create in me a Clean Heart
The woman you become as you wait
How often do you think about the Lord’s return and how prepared are you for that glorious day? Just as you would prepare yourself to meet someone of importance, you should prepare yourself for the coming of the Lord. Looking at what Paul tells us as women we should be doing while we wait, you will be encouraged to know that holiness is a process and you need to train for it.
Joshua 3:5 Then Joshua told the people, “Purify yourselves, for tomorrow the LORD will do great wonders among you.”
Lady-Like “ness”
A message for Teen girls
Jessie has developed this message to help teen girls understand the importance of being a young lady. Lady-like may be an old fashion term, but Jessie will give it relevance for girls in today’s culture. She will share with them the importance of daily Bible ready, consistency in their walk and what pleases God both spiritually and practically. Jessie’s desire is to come along side your girls and encourage them to remain pure and be a utensil honorable for use (2 Timothy 2:21-22)
Forever Friends
Friendships, we all have them, some good, some not so good; some a joy and some painful. But they all have shaped us in one way or another. Jessie will share with you through the illustration of the “Teacup Story” how our character is both developed and revealed through the tests we encounter. She will encourage you to cultivate friendships with others and the keys to friendship with God.
James 2:23 And the scripture was fulfilled that says, “Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness, and he was called God’s friend.
The Christmas Gift
Even Christians can get “caught up” in the world’s view of the Christmas season. Do you find yourself leaving Christ out of your life during this special time of the year? Jessie’s heartfelt message on the real meaning and joy of Christmas is told through her own personal story. Hear about one Christmas lost from her family and how she found the true meaning of Christmas, “God is with us.”
Romans 8:28 He will work all things for good to those who love Him.
Teach us to Pray, Oh God
How’s your prayer life? If you are like most, prayer is always an area that needs more diligence. No matter where you are in your journey with God, a fervent and effective prayer life is always desired. Looking at the Lord’s Prayer, Jessie will share the importance of putting God first through her personal experience of committing her time spent in conversation with Him.
Colossians 4:2 Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful.
Living a Balanced life
The opposite of peace is turmoil where there is no quietness, no rest, and only trouble. Does this sound like your way of life on a daily basis or during seasons of trials? Through this session, Jessie will show you how she learned to have peace among the chaos and the process of pursuing peace.
“We need to schedule stillness into our lives, and then we will find rest in the race” Jennifer Rothschild
Parenting Teens
Teens are like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. At times, they are mature and then childish. Their conversation can be sophisticated and then incoherent (like “whatever”). One minute they’re detached and the next clingy. They can be selfish and yet giving. They can look beautiful or grungy. They respect us. They scorn us. They love us (really they do). They admire us (they just don’t realize it).
They are our teenagers. We are their parents. What in the world are we in for?
Jessie, mother of two teenage daughters is in the middle of those chaotic years herself. Though she hasn’t conquered the parenting teen “thing” to perfection, she will share with you what the Lord has taught her to help others through the journey.
Jessie’s message could be heard as one session as well as a two or three session series.
God What about My Plans?
Jessie’s Testimony
Has anyone ever told you life is like a “bowl of cherries?” Some are sweet, but you may have some pits in the bottom of the bowl. Do you know that you can find joy at the bottom of that bowl? Yes, joy can come to you “in and through” your struggles and it may even be better on the backside of the trial.
Through her moving testimony, Jessie shares personal struggles with the life-threatening illness, Cushing Syndrome, and how God continues to draw her closer to Himself. This heart-warming message will show that all you need is the faith of a mustard seed and what God can do with a willing vessel. She will challenge you as you ask yourself, “To whom and where do you turn for comfort?”
James 1:3-4 For when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be strong in character and ready for anything.
Leadership/Facilitator Training Seminar
Jessie is available to come to your church and share what God has taught her about leading women’s ministries and Bible studies. Jessie has organized an interdenominational Bible study with Truth for Women for seven years, a neighborhood Bible study for ten tears. She also began a prison Bible study that she was part of for three years.
Through a Leadership/Facilitator Training Seminar she developed, Jessie will share from God’s Word what true leadership looks like along with practical teachings. Topics such as, goals of a ministry and handling destructive roles in group members are discussed.
Whether you are beginning a new women’s ministry of restructuring an existing ministry, you will benefit from this seminar.
